*Edit So I guess I should explain the happy image with the sad quote... This photo pretty much goes along side this other one... I uploaded the earlier one on July 1st, when I was more optimistic because I still had a couple of months with Nick before he goes away. Now we're down to 20 days, I don't have such a positive view of it all We're gonna try to stick it out and survive him going to uni, but its starting to kick in how dificult its going to be. So I'm sad that he's moving away, but happy that its not just gonna be over. This kinda shows how I'm feeling right now, I'm trying to be happy and strong for him, but its starting to kill me too*

Lemme just state, I'm not a very nice critique HAHA VISION : I like the message. But I don't see how the colorful background ties in with it. It's supposed to be a somber message about someone trying to stay positive when they are actually sad. ORIGINALITY : A lot of your pictures (or at least the ones I'VE seen) have paint splatters and you holding notes. I've seen it too much As an artist/photographer, it's time to try something new~ (once again, I haven't browsed your whole gallery so don't take all I'm saying TOO at heart) TECHNIQUE : I kind of explained this in the part above ^ IMPACT : It would've been a bit better if the background matched the saying. It feels off too me. Here's also a side note. Your eye make-up... It looks as if the left eye is darker, making your eyes look uneven. If it's an actual eye problem, I'm very sorry to so rudely point it out!
This is absolutely amazing. I was just curious if I could use this idea (the paint and sign) on myself, for my husband. He's leaving on his second deployment to Afghanistan for the USMC, and I worry every single day. It's very hard for him there, and this this might give him some motivation to not do anything stupid, haha. It would only be for personal use, and the idea belongs to you, I just wanted to ask permission first. It would really mean a lot, if you say no, I fully respect that.
Fantastic work. Simply love it. To be honest I don't got much I can give in constructive criticism. So I will tell you what I like about the piece.
First off her eyes look simply amazing. The random splashes of color on her body and the background, really make the whole image pop.
And then at the center, to draw focus is the black and white, it is perfect and really draws the eyes to the meaning of the picture.
Again great job, I simply love it. Keep up the great work. Hope to see more in the future.
